Additional shipment insurance
For shipments with a higher value or specific requirements, we can arrange additional insurance cover beyond the standard carrier liability. The scope of cover is agreed individually according to the value of the goods, the nature of the transport and the coverage you need.
Cover based on value, type of goods and route
Every shipment has a different value and different risks. When arranging additional cover we take into account the type of goods, their value, the mode of transport, the route and the final destination.
Cover beyond carrier liability
Carrier liability insurance is not the same as insuring the goods themselves. For shipments where the standard carrier liability may not match their actual value, we recommend assessing individually whether additional insurance cover is appropriate.
